Limits
- Free: gather for 60 days with room for everyone you would invite, no card, and watch the first two videos. Photos ride along free, up to 20 on a free collection, and any purchase removes that cap. Nothing is deleted when the 60 days are up, and unlocking reopens collecting. Up to 3 active free collections.
- Pay as you go: $0.35 per video received, no cap, and nothing locked: see and use every video as it arrives. Collecting open for a year, extendable.
- Bundles: a fixed price to unlock up to 10, 25, or 50 videos you pick, collecting open for a year, extendable.
- Upgrade any collection anytime: keep your link and every clip. Videos collected while free stay free; pay as you go bills only the ones that arrive after you upgrade.
- Videos you never unlock stay saved. Unlock them whenever you like; unlocked videos never expire.
- Bigger than 50? Slide for a flat quote, up to 1,000 videos, then go pay as you go or email us to lock it: 100 for $69, 250 for $170, 500 for $326, 1000 for $600.
- A bundle with zero responses is self-serve refundable in full.
What can I do before paying anything?
Gather, free and without a card: create a collection, share the link, and collect videos from everyone you invite. Contributors can add a photo too, and photos ride along free: they never use a video slot and never meter. Collecting stays open for 60 days on a free collection, and nothing you have gathered goes anywhere after that: the clips stay yours, and unlocking reopens the link for more. You can watch the first two videos that arrive, and every photo. Compiling the film, watching everything, sharing, and downloading unlock when you enroll in pay as you go or buy a bundle.
What does “nothing if no one replies” mean exactly?
Pay as you go charges $0.35 per video actually received. A collection that gets no responses is charged nothing, and there is no card on file for the free tier for it to charge.
What if I buy a bundle and nobody records?
A bundle with zero responses is self-serve refundable in full. Once videos start arriving, the bundle is in use.
How long does a collection stay open?
Free collections gather clips for 60 days, and then the link rests rather than ending: the clips are kept, nothing is deleted, and unlocking reopens collecting whenever you are ready. Bundles and pay as you go keep collecting for their full streaming window of a year, extendable, which suits long recoveries, deployments, and slow-gathering memorials.
Is the finished film branded?
Your videos are never watermarked. Every finished film closes with the videos.me end slate, and the pages contributors record on carry a small powered-by-videos.me line. That is the whole footprint.
Which plan should a normal gift use?
For most gatherings where each person sends one clip, pay as you go costs the least: six clips is $2.10. Bundles fit groups expecting several clips per person, or anyone who wants the bill fixed in advance.
